Blue Anvil Worker Spotlight – Tori
Tori held both a barbie and a hammer, leaning over her Dad’s shoulder while he worked, and the advice he gave her she has continued to live by to this day: “You can do anything a boy can do.” Coming from a family of Carpenters, she learned no matter the role whether it be waitressing, painting, or working in the bodyshop, you always show up and do your best. Hard work runs deep in her roots.
Before joining Blue Anvil, Tori worked as a labourer, pouring her heart into a job that didn’t give the same in return. She’s faced challenges that would overwhelm most, yet she’s met each one with determination, grit, and radiates an infectious positivity and passion. From the moment she joined our team, we knew the fire in her eyes was exactly the kind of fuel this forge would need to create change.
As Tori pursues her Red Seal with the Camosun Program, she hopes to be a spark for other women in the Trades. Her dream is to be “... a strong woman, who can lead other women”, and with the feedback we have received on sites, and from her peers, we can confirm she is well on her way.
Tori is a powerhouse, and we couldn’t be prouder to spotlight her journey. We can’t wait to see everything she will build next.
